Summer 2010 will see the launch of the much awaited ‘Prospectus’ for the rollout of smart energy meters, a road map for subsequent detailed design and commercial and regulatory arrangements for implementation. This large and complex energy sector programme will touch all parts of the energy supply chain and the industry is set for step change. Extended to 1½ days this year the programme will address policy and strategic objectives, stakeholder opinion from across the supply chain, data and communications solutions and conclude with what we expect to be a timely session on ‘getting smart right ...’!
