MECOMS™ Analyst
Description
The MECOMS™ product development organisation, focussed on the development of the MECOMS™ product, is for the further expansion of the department looking for new employees to develop both technical and functional designs and the technical development of these designs in the product.
Important elements are:
- Good technical analytical skills and strong communication skills
- Be able to think in concepts and architecture
- Apply MECOMS™ design concepts
- Managing development and perform development activities of critical components
- Strong technical skills, preferably grown from software development
- You work closely with the functional and technical business owners and product architects
Responsibilities
- Support the functional business owners regarding the further development of functional analysis based on requirements and best practices
- Development of technical analysis based on functional design and best practices
- Apply and enforce MECOMS™Design concepts
- Prepare and motivate estimates (fixed budget)
- Support functional and technical business owners regarding the preparation and motivation of estimates (ball park)
- Business kennis gathering: – “See the big picture” (not just technical)
- Uitvoeren van development activiteiten voor kritische componenten
- Managing the development activities (in cooperation and consultation with technical business owners and development manager)
- Drafting and (daily) follow-up detailed (day, week, ...)-planning for developers
- Creating tasks
- Managing developers
- Manage overrun, rework and milestone delivery
- Controlling time records and tasks
- Follow-up and review regarding technical aspects
- Ownership of assigned roadmap topics – work packages – tasks
- Support of technical business owners for 3th line maintenance support
- Analysis of issues
- Planning, follow-up and communication
- Cross knowledge center management
- Determine roadmap topics in conjunction with product management, functional and technical business owners
- Support technical and functional business owners regarding knowledge sharing
- Business transition to technical writer/trainers (on line documentation, user manual, etc.)
- To the customer (*) and solution management
- Supporting customer demo’s(*)
- Internal and external presentations
- Supporting presales activities
- Focus on quality
- Support quality assurance unit with testing and general quality assurance aspects
- Perform business acceptance testing
- Ensuring 100% quality
- On time – within budget and scope – keep promises
- Achieve KPI’s related to development, support, etc.
- Collaborate with Microsoft and architecture unit
- Providing the migration note
- Evaluate (code) reviews (in cooperation with technical business owners and development manager)

Profile
- Experience in the utilities markets is a plus
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX is a major asset
- Experience in develoment, implementation and designing ERP or CRM is a plus
- .NET experience is a plus
- Experience with SqlServer is a plus
- Experience with BI is a plus
- Fluency in English
- 3 years experience as analist, analist-developer or 5 years developer experience
